STM32F205VET6 is a general-purpose, ARM-based 32bit microcontroller. It features an adaptive real-time memory accelerator (ART Accelerator™) that allows to achieve a performance equivalent to 0 wait state program execution from Flash memory at a CPU frequency up to 120MHz. This performance has been validated using the CoreMark benchmark. This device offers three 12-bit ADCs, two DACs, a low-power RTC, twelve general-purpose 16-bit timers including two PWM timers for motor control, two general-purpose 32bit timers. a true number random generator (RNG). It also features standard and advanced communication interfaces. Applications include motor drive and application control, medical equipment, industrial applications: PLC, inverters, circuit breakers, printers, and scanners, alarm systems, video intercom, and HVAC, home audio appliances.

- VBAT supply for RTC, 20 × 32 bit backup registers, and optional 4Kb backup SRAM
- Debug mode: Serial wire debug (SWD), JTAG, and Cortex-M3 Embedded Trace Macrocell™
- USB 2.0 full-speed device/host/OTG controller with on-chip PHY
- Operating voltage range from 1.8V to 3.6V, 120MHz max CPU frequency
- SPI clock rise and fall time is 8ns max at (capacitive load: C = 30pF, fPCLK = 30MHz)
- Total unadjusted error is ±5LSB max at (fPCLK2 = 60MHz, fADC = 30MHz, RAIN < 10Kohm)
- 512Kbytes of flash memory, connectivity
- Industrial temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- 100-pins LQFP package
